Catharinia or the Republic of Catharinia was a rather short-living republic on the Catharinia Archipelago. It came forth from the Catharinia Colony in 1954 after the People's Republic of Catharinia declared its independence fourteen years earlier. It split up in Arcadia and the Kingdom of Catharinia in 1961.
